Yesterday was only the start!
So yesterday I posted about a fantastic charity album called Do Fun Stuff. A lot of people reposted it and I am grateful that you guys are helping a friend of mine do something amazing.
And here is how amazing: http://pacingthepanicroom.blogspot.com/2010/08/look-at-what-we-went-did.html
Yep…#1 on the kids album for day 1. Which is pure awesome, but let me be realistic here for a second, getting to #1 was not the hard part. It was amazing, and through a huge internet push happened, but the reality is this: staying #1 will be hard.
So let’s not give up, let’s not let some subpar, mass produced kids album take the spot. Please buy the album, gift it to a friend who has kids, leave a comment, repost this on your facebook, twitter, tumblr, postlet, whatever oddly spelled non-word social network you belong to, and help this album sustain the momentum that everyone so greatly gave it yesterday. I am going to be posting about it a lot, and I indeed bought it as a gift for my Brothers family and left a comment, lest you think I am being hypocritical.
So join in on a good cause and help keep this album moving, it’s going to take moving some mountains to keep the album at #1, but if that happens you can know that you were helping out a little buddy named Kevin and his family as well as many, many other families that are learning to handle and cope with a rare disorder on a daily basis.
