My life with Marvel Comics

This is a weird thing to write, but I have talked to my family and my work at this point, which only leaves my friends. 

A few months ago I applied to a job doing web dev at Marvel comics on the off chance that they would reply to a guy in Florida. Well, it’s been a somewhat long process, but suffice to say they did. They offered me a job and I accepted and as of the first week or so in November I will be moving to NY and starting work at a place that I have been a massive fan of since I was 12. It will be a long first few months, seeing as Melissa will be staying here for those to finish school, but ultimately this is a good thing and probably one of the most exciting changes I will ever make.

I may write a long love letter to Florida later, but this is the quickest way I knew to kind of put some words together while my head is spinning about this new prospect. Needless to say I’ll miss the crap out of everyone and I am equal parts terrified and excited about what I’m about to embark on, but thank you to everyone who wished me luck, said a prayer or gave me even one word of encouragement through this. You have no idea how much it meant to this big kid in a grown ups body.
