Oh Florida, I grow less fond of you with every post

PS this is the best quote ever:

“Think of it as like Mayberry,” state Rep. Stephen Precourt, R-Orlando, said, referring to The Andy Griffith Show. “That’s when I grew up — the ’60s. That’s what life was like. I want Florida to be known for making those kinds of movies: Disney movies for kids and all that stuff. Like it used to be, you know?”

Just follow that last sentence with, you know, before blacks had equal rights, homosexuality was kept in the closet and women stayed in the kitchen like they should.

Thank you Rep. Precourt for letting me know how you really feel. I’ll be happy to remember your name at the polls.
